Danielle Litchford, lpc, lmft

Danielle Litchford is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She has also been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She has worked extensively with adolescents, adults, and young children for over a decade. 

 

Danielle spent her early career in North Central Arkansas working with middle and high school students in the community mental health setting. She has been practicing in the River Valley area for the past eight years in a variety of settings. 

 

Danielle received her Bachelors of Science in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work from College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri in 2007. She later attended John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas for her graduate work and received a Masters of Science with a major in Marriage & Family Therapy in 2011.

Treatment specialties

  • Anxiety & Depression: Danielle works with adults, adolescents, and children experiencing anxiety and/or depressive symptoms. Danielle helps individuals discover appropriate and effective ways to improve one’s quality of life.

 

  • Trauma Related Difficulties: Danielle works with adults, adolescents, and children regarding trauma-related difficulties. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma. TF-CBT can help resolve a broad array of emotional and behavioral challenges associated with traumatic experiences.

 

  • Children & Adolescents: Danielle has many years of experience working with both middle and high school students struggling with a variety of difficulties that include but are not limited to: bullying, trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, interpersonal issues, and behavioral difficulties. Danielle also works with the family system to help equip parents in supporting their child and/or adolescent.
