We invite patients at the Center for Professional Psychology to complete a Cognitive Skills Assessment through our sister company, LearningRx, at a reduced cost of $149 (Regular $249). Many individuals choose to take advantage of this opportunity for several reasons:

1. Reduce uncertainty: Comprehensive evaluations often involve longer wait times. Gaining preliminary insight into cognitive functioning can be helpful in managing this period—especially for school-age children, but also for adults. It may also help you decide whether or not to pursue testing.

2. Valuable insight: You’ll receive information about your cognitive profile, which will be shared with your testing psychologist or therapist to help inform your care. This insight can provide a clearer understanding of your cognitive strengths and weaknesses.

3. Optional program familiarity: You’ll also become familiar with the LearningRx programs, which utilize cutting-edge neuroscience-based training. There’s no obligation to enroll, but this exposure can help you understand the potential benefits of cognitive training programs.

4. Quick and focused: The Cognitive Skills Assessment measures key areas of functioning but does NOT provide a diagnosis. It takes about one hour, followed by a one-hour consultation with Dr. Jackson. In contrast, your comprehensive testing appointments at the clinic will take up to four hours. This option offers a more streamlined and focused approach for individuals who prefer a quicker assessment process.
